It's the start of Aquarius season + I'm finally ready to share a bit of my plan for 2024!

But first! This is going to be the last email you're getting from mary@marychhea.com.

Last fall, I changed my business name to reflect the spirit of saying HELLO to customers, collaborators + co-conspirators YOUR way.

"αžŸαž½αžŸαŸ’αžαžΈ" Suosdey translates as an informal "hello" in Khmer, my ancestral language.

And now Google + Yahoo are implementing some changes that will make your inbox a MUCH happier place!

ICYMI, businesses like me + you (if you send a newsletter to folks who opted in to hear from you) must have a verified domain to send newsletters. More details here.

Which all means, starting Feb 1, I'll be sending emails from sayhello@suosdeystudios.com.

I LOVE January Capricorn season because people tend to be in an inspired, fresh, dreamy state with a healthy dose of get sh*t done energy.

This year I want to accomplish...

Welp, here's one thing I'm NOT giving up this year:

SOCIAL MEDIA TEMPLATES.

Templates save at LEAST 15 minutes per post, which helps when my team + are are batching 20+ posts per month for our clients.

And it saves me twice that when I'm making my own IG posts.

  • Templates kick start my creative brain when I need to write my own content.
  • They help me stay focused on my message instead of getting lost in design.
  • Good templates shortcut my content creation process by 50%.

I recommend creating your own video + graphic templates to 100% stand out on the For You Page.

But if you lack design skills like me, customizing stock templates from design-forward creators like Pixistock* is a fine place to start.

If growing your email list is a priority for 2024, you MUST check out Liz Wilcox's killer Email Marketing Membership* for simple weekly email templates. (This email is one of them!)
